Jersey Jargon - The Association Newsletter
The Jersey Jargon is the newsletter of the American Physical Therapy Association of New Jersey. The Jersey Jargon contains articles of interest, legislative news, reimbursement issues and Association information, which are important to physical therapy professionals in the state of New Jersey. Display Advertising and Classified Advertising is available for employment opportunities, equipment sales or educational programs.

Limited space for display advertising in the Jersey Jargon is available on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. Four (4) issues will be published for 2007: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. Dates are subject to change.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ADVERTISEMENTS
A. All advertisements must comply with the standards and policies of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) including, but not limited to, “Financial Considerations in Practice, HOD 06-99-13-17 (Program 19, Government Affairs Dept.).” A copy of this policy may be provided upon reasonable request.
B. All advertising is subject to the approval of the Jersey Jargon Editor. The editor reserves the right to decline advertisement deemed inappropriate for publication.
C. The acceptance of any advertisement does not constitute endorsement by the APTA or aptanj.
D. All Display advertisement copy submitted must be typed if not camera ready.
E. There is a limited amount of space reserved for display advertisements. This space is allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
F. Quarter-page ads must be vertical; half-page ads and business card ads must be horizontal.
G. Classified advertising submitted by aptanj members will be billed upon publication of the issue. All other classified ads must be pre-paid. Display advertisements must be paid in advance. Display advertisers will receive a copy of the Jersey Jargon.
H. The Jersey Jargon Editor has sole discretion regarding the location of advertisements in the publication.
I. Each advertisement must be accompanied by a separate Jersey Jargon Insertion Order Form.
J. Non-compliance with the above may, in the sole discretion of the Jersey Jargon editor, result in rejection of an ad prior to publication, either before or after initial acceptance thereof. No refunds shall be granted in such cases. Advertiser understands and accepts these terms and has executed and returned the attached Certification. Advertiser waives all rights to contest the Jersey Jargon Editor’s decision, which shall be final. Advertiser’s request to publish represents consent to aptanj to make reasonable inquiry and investigation regarding Advertiser’s compliance with APTA policies.
K. The Jersey Jargon is the official publication of the aptanj, under charter from APTA, and is published as a service to its members.

MECHANICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR DISPLAY ADVERTISEMENTS
1. Newsletter page size is 8-1/2 x 11 inches. Full page ad size is 7-1/2 x 9-1/8 inches high. Half page horizontal ad size is 7-1/2 x 4-2/5 inches high. Quarter page vertical ad size is 3-1/2 x 4-1/4 inches high. All business cards must be standard horizontal 3-1/3 x 2 inches high.
2. Printed by offset. CAMERA READY COPY is requested. An additional fee of $25.00 will be charged for typesetting.
3. Electronic ads are accepted in PDF, TIF or JPG formats, otherwise CAMERA READY COPY is required. Photos must be a minimum of 300 DPI in grayscale. Photos and text should be embedded in file.

1. Premium Back Cover 1/2 page......... $400.00
2. Full Page.......................................… $500.00
3. 1/2 Page........................................… $300.00
4. 1/4 Page........................................… $150.00
5. Business Card (your card “as is”)....... $75.00
Classified Advertisements –
$40.00 for first 40 words
$.25 for each additional word
Limit 75 words
Count as one word:

* Hyphenated words
* Telephone numbers
