Purpose:

The purpose of this award is to acknowledge the individual who has demonstrated the most support or fostered the growth of the PT profession through legislative efforts as exemplified by the contributions made to the profession by Robert Ransky, PT.

Eligibility:

1. The nominee shall be any individual who has fostered the growth of PT through legislative efforts.
2. Association employees or members of the Council of Directors shall NOT be eligible during their respective periods or terms of office.

Criteria:

An individual who has participated actively in legislative activities in the form of lobbying, providing testimony, publications, workshops or working in one or more aspects of the legislative process. A support statement documenting the contributions to PT in general through legislative involvement in the form of publications, workshops, lobbying, providing testimony or working in one or more aspects of the legislative process is requested.
