James Tucker Excellence in Clinical Practice & Teaching Award
Award Description  

Purpose:

The purpose of this award is to give public recognition toa member of the APTAnj who, as an outstanding clinician and clinical teacher, has made significant contributions to the practice of Physical Therapy.

Eligibility:

  1. The nominee shall be a member of the APTAnj.
  2. Association employees or members of the Council of Directors shall NOT be eligible during their respective periods or terms of office.
 

Criteria:

  1. The recipient shall be a member of APTAnj.
  2. The recipient shall be one who has engaged in clinical practice at least 10 years.
  3. The recipient shall be one whose professional allegiance has been first and foremost to the patient.
 

When nominating, a support statement documenting the nominee's contributions to the practice of physical therapy through clinical practice and clinical teaching is requested.
